Some girls and women suffer from pain in the breasts before and during their periods. Sometimes, the pain is bearable, and at other times it becomes really bad. Why do breasts ache during this period of time, and what can you do to avoid it?
The major cause of breasts' pain during period is the hormonal imbalance during menstruation. Estrogen levels goes down, while progesterone levels go up... and here's when the breasts start to retain fluids and seem a little bigger than the usual. When the breasts are swollen and tender, they become achy.
This pain in the breasts is minimal for some women; they don't really feel it. Others suffer from it every time they have their period. What can they do to make it less effective?
- Exercise regularly
- Wear a bra that is the right size and offers proper support

- Eat more fresh fruit, vegetables, and fiber
Try the above steps and share with us if the pain goes away.
